On Graph Paper:
1) Draw a Cartesian Plane
2) Draw a shape. Label the vertices (corners)
3) Using a Post It, rotate the shape 90 degrees Clockwise. Label the new vertices.
4) Rotate the original shape 180 degrees. Label the new vertices.
5) Rotate the original shape 90 degrees counterclockwise. Label the new vertices.
6) Write the rule for each rotation.
HINT
The rule for 90 degree clockwise rotation is: (a,b) ----> (b, -a)
Be sure you are up-to-date on your homework. You should have handed in 3 questions about the youTube videos (see below) as well as 7.1, p69 Integers, 7.2 and 7.3.
