We continued work on our group challenge.


Homework: Solve the following 2 problems on loose-leaf paper.

Write the formula and show your work step-by-step. Round your answer to 2 decimal places.


1. The purple cylinder has a diameter of 8cm and a height of 12 cm. What is its volume?



2. Jether has a cylinder with a volume of 1538.6 cm3. If it is 10cm high, what is its radius? (Work backwards, showing the steps).


BONUS - Alsa is given a small cylinder of solid gold. The cylinder is 6 cm high and has a circumference of 6.26cm. Given that gold weighs 19.3 grammes per cubic centimeter how much does the gold cylinder weigh?
