Algebra Vocabulary
- A variable is a symbol, usually a letter of the alphabet that stands for an unkown number (ex: x)
- An expression is a combination of variables, numbers and at least one operatopm (ex: 2x+3 or 4x - 3y +14z -24)
- An equation is a sentence that contains an equal sign (ex: 2x+3 = 23)
